In August 2011, the UK witnessed some pretty despicable behaviour in the form of riots in several parts of the country - many of which were coordinated via social networks and mobile devices.

Suddenly the term HASHCRIME took on a whole new meaning to us - the use of social networking for criminal activity. We've submitted this definition to and we going to be very interested to see how well it catches on.

SPREAD THE WORD and see if it sticks - Twitter users are encouraged to use the hashtag #hashcrime :)
